I cover very basic things. Push door tight against door frame. Out of box and on your home in minutes. Installation larson storm doors are available with two installation methods that require no cutting.

Attach the hinge rail and hang your door step 3. Easyhang includes one step hanging with pre drilled placement holes and adjustable height for an exact fit. Install door installation screws from bag c on the outer side of hinge rail. Tape the template on the inside of the storm door as indicated on the template.

To unjam the deadbolt remove the latch side rail installation screws. Prepare to install your storm door step 2. Follow the drilling instructions on the template. Tools needed phillips screwdriver tape pencil power drill with 3 32 1 8 3 8 and 9 16 drill bits.

Do not over tighten screws. Measure your door opening width from jamb to jamb and the height from head to sill. This will loosen the tension on the deadbolt allowing it to retract and the door to open. Install drip cap and latch rail step 4.

Tighten screw while pushing top of hinge rail tight against the door frame. Using 12 8 x i phillips flat head screws install the hinge expander on the jamb leaving 3 32 clearance at the top and 7 32 clearance at the sill. Once the door is open operate the handle and turn the deadbolt. Cut hinge expander 5 16 less than the opening height.

Secure them together with a hinge screw. The door will settle approx. 5a 5c 5d hang storm door onto door frame using the placeholder screw. Starting at the top of the storm door with the interior side facing up open the top hinge of the hinge mounting rail and align it with the hole near the top end of the door frame.
