To depress the detent use the end of a metal paper clip or the point of an awl inserting it into the hole and pressing the detent down while twisting and removing the door handle shaft off the spindle. Place the lever back on to the shaft using a 3 32 hex wrench tighten the screw through the lever and shaft. I couldn t remember what i needed to do to get the handle back on the knob.
